 JOB DESCRIPTION FOR MARKETING COORDINATOR

 

  1. DEFINITION

The Marketing Coordinator contributes to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of strategic marketing concepts and participates in the fund development initiatives to support the mission and vision of CCLS, engage the public, attract new audiences, and increase the overall revenues of the organization.

 

  1. REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Marketing Coordinator reports to the CEO.

 

  • FUNCTIONS
    1. Ensure consistent, accurate, and positive representation in all CCLS communications.
    2. Develop, implement, and evaluate marketing strategies with program and development staff that align with the CCLS strategic plan.
    3. Track and analyze data to determine the best opportunities to increase awareness and growth of CCLS.
    4. Review content documents across all departments for relevancy, consistency, and brand compliance.
    5. Plan and administer community outreach initiatives including staffing information booths at conferences and community outreach opportunities within the IDD community.
    6. Build relationships with relevant news outlets. Write and distribute press releases and publicity materials to increase the visibility of CCLS.
    7. Work in close collaboration with the Director of Development and Community Engagement, and Digital and Social Media Coordinator.
    8. Coordinate and monitor branding kits that include logos, flyers, standard signatures, business cards and promo products.
    9. Coordinate printing of all marketing materials.
    10. Support fund development efforts and participate on the development advisory committee.
    11. Attend all state and company-mandated training as scheduled.

 

  1. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS
    1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, public relations, or related field.
    2. Three to five years of experience in the field of marketing and communications.
    3. Demonstrated experience using integrated marketing/communication strategies and tactics.
    4. Excellent verbal, writing and editing skill set, proven ability to develop communications across multiple channels and to a variety of audiences.
    5. Proficiency with Canva; experience with web/social media tools and email solutions.
    6. Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    7. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, staff, and external stakeholders.
    8. Has experience in compliance with rules for written materials.
    9. Has an acceptable criminal record and background information disclosure.
    10. Is not listed with the Department of Health Services or Regulation and Licensing or any other applicable state department or agencies with a finding of abuse/neglect/misappropriation of funds/property.
    11. Holds a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s record, access to a vehicle during work hours, and proof of insurance.
    12. Has acceptable pre-placement drug screening results.
